A new Carnival Executive Planning Team

Would you like to be part of a new team taking a strategic and operational lead on organising Huddersfield Carnival?

HACCT – a registered Charity has taken the decision to establish a new Huddersfield Caribbean Carnival Executive Planning group whose remit would be to take full responsibility for the delivery of Huddersfield Carnival. The current group of 4 trustees do not have the capacity (time, skills gaps) therefore Carnival 2019 will not happen. The existing Trustees will focus on securing a community building which will support community activities.

We would like to appoint a new (volunteer) strategic leader and operational team interested developing a new model towards Carnival 2020 and beyond. The roles will involve applying for funding, generating sponsorship and sales income, events management, community engagement and developing carnival arts and heritage. Are you creative and business minded? Do you have skills in finance, marketing, bid writing, Health and Safety including safeguarding vulnerable young people and adults?

If you don’t feel you have skills in a specific area but would like to dedicate quality time to complete delegated tasks and/or develop ideas we would be interested in hearing from you.
