Qualified with LLB Honours, PGCE and employed as a prosecution officer for West Yorkshire Police since 1997 responsible for case preparation and completion on all aspects of Criminal cases and serious organised crime. Trained to Lead Tours on Ancient Egypt at The British Museum, London UK, Liverpool Slavery Museum UK. 

Experienced writing successful grant applications to Awards For All Big Lottery and Arts Council and Local Community Chest for local carnival Mas Band. 

Author of Rhythmic Arts In Motion programme for local mas band and co-writer of successful application to Arts Council for funding  RAM programme. 

Secretary at All Saints and St Thomas Church Huddersfield since 2008 on the Parochial Church Council. 

Organised traditional and cultural Caribbean fundraising concerts and events, teaching dance and drama  including script writing to children and young people. Experience in costume design, colour theory for art and design.  Covered wire bending work shops and adhesive application to fabrics and materials in carnival costume making.
